Sandy has been the Solicitor General since 2013.  She was an Assistant Solicitor from 2003 to 2005 and became the Chief Assistant Solicitor General in 2006. Previously she served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Bonnie Chessher Oliver from 2001 to 2003.

A 1993 graduate of Tavares High School, Tavares, Florida, Sandy earned a Bachelor of Science in both Philosophy and Political Science at Valdosta State University in 1996.  She received her Juris Doctorate degree at the Mercer University in 2001.

She has been involved in leadership positions with the Solicitor General’s Association of Georgia.  Sandy actively works with the legislature to pass laws to protect the public, specifically working to protect Victims of Domestic Violence and strengthen DUI laws.
