Sandy has been the Solicitor General since 2013.  She was an Assistant Solicitor from 2003 to 2005 and became the Chief Assistant Solicitor General in 2006. Previously she served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Bonnie Chessher Oliver from 2001 to 2003.

A 1993 graduate of Tavares High School, Tavares, Florida, Sandy earned a Bachelor of Science in both Philosophy and Political Science from Valdosta State University in 1996.  She received her Juris Doctorate degree from the Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law in 2001.
